This section of the Tahoe Rim Trail starts at Watson Lake, a small but beautiful pond high above Lake Tahoe with primative campsites available. Killer views of the Lake and abundant flora and fauna (just like the rest of the loop!).
Follow 267 to the Brockway Summit (the high point between Truckee and King's Beach). Look for a dirt road on the west side. Park in the area on the immediate right and pedal down the road a few hundred yards and look for singletrack to the right.
